The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Reich. Carwin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Reich keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Reich misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Carwin.

and Reich counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Carwin!
Reich throwing strikes but Carwin bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top.
Reich wants to control from the top but Carwin keeps moving.

Reich drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reich jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Carwin trying to keep a closed guard but Reich is proving a slippery customer.

It looks like Chris Carwin has been cut.
Reich sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Reich avoids the attempt from Carwin to control.
Carwin is trying desperately to improve position.
Carwin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Reich is looking to work his way around to Carwin's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Reich is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Carwin can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
