The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimyasa fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mercury bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kimyasa's head backwards.
A swing and a miss from Mercury.
Mercury stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Mercury tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kimyasa was well out of range. Poor timing from Mercury.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kimyasa tries for a takedown but Mercury sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
