Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andy Kane!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pedro Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sanchez swivels and escapes.
Sanchez lands a head shot.
Kane fails with the takedown.
Sanchez connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Sanchez leaves Kane with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sanchez misses with an uppercut.
Kane shoots in looking for a takedown. Sanchez tries to sprawl out of it but Kane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sanchez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sanchez throws a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
No luck for Kane with that takedown attempt.
A jab from Sanchez finds it's way through Kane's defenses.


It looks like Andy Kane has been cut.
Sanchez throws a series of punches but Kane avoids them all with ease.
Pedro Sanchez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanchez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kane shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sanchez defends it nicely.
Kane avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kane fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kane looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sanchez is fending him off so far but Kane persists. Nope, Sanchez circles away and we're back to standing.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kane. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
A swing and a miss from Sanchez.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sanchez, as that shot connected.
No luck for Kane with that takedown attempt.
Kane walks straight into a right hand from Sanchez - that's dropped him! Sanchez jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kane from any more punishment! Kane complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Pedro Sanchez!
Pedro Sanchez is the new super heavyweight champion!
