Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arona circles away from the clinch attempt.
Big throws a sloppy head kick and Arona moves out of range easily.
Arona swats away the attempt to clinch by Big.
Big tries to clinch but Arona is having none of it.
Arona avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Big is looking to clinch.
Big misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Arona tries to close the distance and clinch but Big swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Big moves into range and clinches up with Arona.
Big tries for a takedown. No joy.
Arona utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
A frustrated look appears on Big's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Big has had enough of the clinch but Arona keeps him there for the moment.
Arona blocks an elbow strike from Big.
Big pulls guard effortlessly.
Big pushes Arona off and scrambles back to his feet.
Arona blocks a head kick by Big.
Big moves to clinch but Arona breaks away
and Arona holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Big throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Arona connects with a nasty looking knee right to Big's face.
It looks like Bob Big has been cut.
A knee to the head by Arona.
Big breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Big looks gassed!
Big tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Arona counters by moving into the clinch.
Arona with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Arona avoids a wild elbow strike from Big.
Arona wants a takedown.
Big breaks the clinch.
Bob Big seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Big closes the distance but Arona moves to the side
and Arona counters with a head kick. That will keep Big thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Whack! Arona lands a heavy head kick that drops Big. The ref tackles Arona to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Big was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Ricardo Arona!
