The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nylon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nylon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McCool moves away.
McCool fails with the takedown.
McCool closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nylon circles away.
John Nylon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis McCool.

Nylon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Nylon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Nylon seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down McCool for as long as he can get away with.

Nylon stands up from mount. Strange move.
Nylon shoots in looking for a takedown. McCool tries to sprawl out of it but Nylon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCool manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Nylon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Nylon is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. McCool looks calm but he's in trouble here. Nylon gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. McCool is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Nylon lets go of the hold and McCool can pop his arm back in it's socket.
