PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Son Goku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Walk Pantera. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with a series of wild punches.
Lee is looking to land body kicks.
Goku moves out of range as Lee strikes.

Goku is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lee's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee wants to get back to his feet.
Goku tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lee knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Lee looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Goku is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Goku content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Goku tries to pass to full mount but Lee defends it.
Lee is looking to escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lee is not content to let Goku control the position.
Still in half guard, Goku seems content to control.
Goku trying to mount his opponent but Lee defends it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Son Goku.
Goku avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lee attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

and Goku counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lee's guard now.
Goku is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Goku wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.

Goku drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Goku as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Lee screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Goku! Nice submission victory there!
