Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lars Gyrvish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Lauzon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gyrvish's entrance music is Five Minutes Alone. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lars Gyrvish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gyrvish instigates a clinch.
Lauzon is looking to break free of the clinch but Gyrvish has double underhooks.
Gyrvish lands a nice elbow.
Gyrvish is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Gyrvish ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gyrvish no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Lauzon wants to control from the top but Gyrvish keeps moving.
Lauzon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gyrvish is proving hard to escape from.

Gyrvish has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lauzon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gyrvish had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lauzon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gyrvish Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lauzon's back instead.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gyrvish throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lauzon escapes and throws Gyrvish's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Lauzon tries to stand but Gyrvish is controlling his head.

Lauzon has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Gyrvish's face.

Lauzon has hold of Gyrvish's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gyrvish manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Lauzon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gyrvish gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gyrvish keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lauzon's head.
