Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kostya Tszyu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pantero Athrox!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Athrox takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Tszyu explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
No luck for Athrox with that takedown attempt.
Athrox looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tszyu is fending him off so far but Athrox persists. Nope, Tszyu circles away and we're back to standing.
Tszyu getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Athrox takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Athrox shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tszyu but Tszyu pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kostya Tszyu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pantero Athrox.
Tszyu fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Athrox on the side of the head.
Tszyu closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Pantero Athrox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Athrox shoots in but no luck this time.
Tszyu connects with a single shot there.

Athrox is rocked!
Tszyu scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Athrox looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tszyu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Athrox's head backwards.
Athrox is still on wobbly legs! Can Tszyu finish him?
Tszyu scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Athrox doesn't seem bothered though.
Tszyu tests Athrox's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Athrox is trying desperately to land a takedown but Tszyu is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Athrox.
Tszyu finds Athrox's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Athrox flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Tszyu lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Athrox will be OK.
