Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Troy Zabler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Ang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Ang!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ang throws a sloppy head kick and Zabler moves out of range easily.
Zabler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Zabler throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ang.

Ang has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Zabler's face.

Ang is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Zabler is surviving well by controlling Ang's body position as best he can.

Ang is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Zabler can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ang looks up at the clock and then as Zabler takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ang smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Troy Zabler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Ang.

Ang manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Zabler has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ang to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Zabler is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ang pulls down on the head and he's put Zabler to sleep! This one is all over!
