Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Wazz Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rauta Vaara!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaara looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Vaara controlling the action here.
Vaara looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Silva with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Silva keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Vaara throwing shots but Silva is blocking nicely.
Vaara trying to pass the guard but Silva defending well.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Vaara moves into full mount! Silva won't be happy about that!

Vaara has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Silva wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Vaara.
Vaara is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Silva can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Silva's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Silva tries to hold on but Vaara postures up.
Vaara with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Silva wants to hold on but Vaara pushes him away.

Vaara is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Silva has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Silva!

Vaara postures up in Silva's guard and throws a big left but Silva blocks it.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Vaara is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Vaara drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick Vaara off! Vaara jumps back into Silva's guard.
Silva is working an open guard so Vaara takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Silva connects with a leg kick. Vaara looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Silva slaps away a takedown attempt from Vaara, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Vaara on that attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rauta Vaara dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Silva scores with a nice body kick.
Nice sprawl there from Silva as Vaara shoots in.
Wazz Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Rauta Vaara has been cut.
Silva lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vaara has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Vaara takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Silva connects with an inside leg kick.
Silva lands a big head kick that sends Vaara tumbling to the mat! Silva takes a step backwards and waves Vaara back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Vaara is rocked!
Silva feints a jab and as Vaara dips his head, Silva unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Vaara right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Vaara falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Silva smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Wazz Silva!
