Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josu Ander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cuthbert Allgood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ander wants to clinch up but Allgood keeps it at a distance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Josu Ander wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Ander tries to close the distance and clinch up but Allgood swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Allgood throws a jab but it's blocked by Ander.
Allgood connects with a leg kick. Ander looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Allgood throws a hook to the side of Ander's head but Ander sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Ander is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Ander wants to control but Allgood is keeping him busy.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Ander looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Allgood with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Allgood is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ander pulls his head out easily.

Ander can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Allgood is looking to escape.
Ander throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Allgood because Ander loaded up on that one.
Allgood is desperately trying to improve his position but Ander has a good base and remains in mount.
Ander postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Allgood looks a forlorn figure.

It looks like Cuthbert Allgood has been cut.

Ander goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Allgood is on top in guard.
Ander lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Allgood!
Ander wants to control the pace but Allgood is squirming around nicely.

Ander fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That has opened up Cuthbert Allgood's cut even more.

Cuthbert Allgood's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Cuthbert Allgood's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
