Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cool McCold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Liber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McCold might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Back in Black. Liber is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Thompson-Moj Grad . The key to victory for Cool McCold has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Robert Liber!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liber shoots in for a takedown but McCold shows good takedown defense.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Liber.
Liber shoots for a double leg takedown but McCold sprawls well. He's pushed Liber's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cool McCold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Liber.
McCold looks to land a combination but Liber avoids it well.
Liber shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McCold but McCold pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No luck for Liber with that takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Liber changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McCold looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

McCold regains half guard.

McCold avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Liber.
Liber seems to be looking for submissions.
McCold keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Liber wants to take a breather but McCold is having none of it.
McCold is pressing down on Liber's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
McCold is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
McCold will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McCold wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Liber stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCold swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McCold avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
McCold is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Liber drops back, looking for a kneebar! McCold looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McCold looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McCold!
Liber looks gassed!
McCold trying to control the action but Liber is working from the bottom.

A lull in the action here as McCold stalls from top position.
Liber tries to improve position but can't.
Liber looks to move to half guard but instead McCold has passed into mount! Damn!
Liber is squirming around, avoiding McCold's attempts to control the action.
McCold tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
McCold punishing his opponent with strikes.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Liber is in all sorts of trouble here.
McCold tries to control but Liber wriggling away.
McCold prevents Liber from getting the reversal.

McCold jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Liber manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Liber takes one to the side of the head.

McCold scores with a nice right hand.
A jab-cross combination lands for McCold and sends Liber crashing to the mat! McCold follows him down to the mat - Liber regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Liber is rocked!
It looks like Robert Liber has been cut.
McCold is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Liber is hurt! He's hurt bad - McCold fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Liber from any more punishment! Congratulations to McCold! Great finish!
