Davino has chosen Despicable Me by Pharrell Williams as his entrance music. Octavio Davino is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Davino.
Jones throws a nice outside leg kick.
Jones throws a combination. Davino tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Jones tries to sprawl but Davino drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Davino is looking for a kimura but Jones is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Davino to get the leverage.
Davino prevents Jones from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davino wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davino on the ground.
Davino passes the guard and advances to mount!

Davino is working for a guillotine from mount but Jones frees his head quite easily.

Davino wants to control the pace but Jones is squirming around nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Davino is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jones is surviving well by controlling Davino's body position as best he can.

Davino goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jones is on top in guard.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Davino is keeping the position.

Davino is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Davino escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Davino swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones is looking to advance position but Davino has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Davino goes for an armbar but Jones turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Jones.
