Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michael Benoit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yakko Warner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Warner's choice of entrance music: Taking Back Sunday - MakeDamnSure. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Yakko Warner was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warner has his takedown stuffed

and Benoit counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Benoit got a little sloppy there for a moment and Warner has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Benoit has managed to get both his arms back between Warner's legs - danger averted.

Warner shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Benoit is trying to defend but Warner finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Warner is stalling here. Benoit is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Warner seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Benoit has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Warner shoots in looking for a takedown but Benoit manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Warner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Benoit feints a jab promting Warner to slip. Benoit then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Warner slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Warner walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.


Warner is rocked!
Benoit feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Warner crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Michael Benoit!
