Mouse comes to the cage accompanied by (hed) pe - Let's Ride. Crewe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Longest Yard. Paul Crewe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mouse throws a leg kick

and Crewe counters with a single leg into guard. Mouse didn't expect that.
Mouse will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Mouse keeping full guard, as Crewe tries to pass.
Mouse wants to stand up but Crewe is controlling him.
Mouse trying to strike off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crewe is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Mouse is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Crewe is aware though and is defending well.
Crewe trying to control the position from guard on top but Mouse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Crewe slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Mouse striking off his back but it's not causing Crewe any problems.

Crewe not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Mouse trying to hold on to Crewe's head to control him but Crewe postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Crewe wants to control for a moment but Mouse uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Mouse wants to control but Crewe is keeping busy.
Mouse on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mouse tries to get out of the position.

Mouse won't allow Crewe to pass to mount.
Crewe moves nicely into side control.
Mouse tries to buck Crewe off but Crewe is having none of it.
Crewe controls the position.
Mouse is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Mouse is working hard here to advance position.
Crewe works to advance to full mount. Mouse defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Crewe takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Mouse is trying desperately to improve position.
Crewe controlling the position easily from mount.
Mouse tries to lock up and control but Crewe gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Mouse is squirming around, avoiding Crewe's attempts to control the action.
Crewe controlling the pace for now.
Mouse is desperately trying to improve his position but Crewe has a good base and remains in mount.
Crewe controlling from the full mount.
Crewe trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Mouse can't escape the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Crewe sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Let's hope that Crewe has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Paul Crewe hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mouse misses with a lunging right hand

and Crewe counters with a takedown into side control.
Mouse is looking to regain half guard here but Crewe keeps moving and retains side control.
Mouse can't do much from the bottom here.
Crewe is looking to take a break and control but Mouse is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Mouse struggling a bit here.
Crewe controlling the position from side mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Crewe dominated that round.
That's time! Mouse's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Mouse looks to land a combination. Crewe sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Mouse tried to score with a low kick but Crewe checks it.

Mouse shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Crewe wants to control but Mouse is having none of it.
Mouse connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Crewe flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Mouse landing strikes from the mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mouse cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Crewe is rocked!
Mouse cracks Crewe with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
