The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quagmire looks to throw a body kick

and Hartmanis counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Quagmire's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hartmanis wants to control from the top but Quagmire keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hartmanis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Quagmire can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Quagmire thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hartmanis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Quagmire's guard.

Hartmanis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Quagmire has his foot on Hartmanis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hartmanis works his way back into a safe position though.

Hartmanis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quagmire swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Quagmire has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hartmanis should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Quagmire has tightened it up now! Hartmanis should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
