Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Julle Bulle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masaru Hirai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hirai has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Julle Bulle could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Masaru Hirai's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Julle Bulle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masaru Hirai!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hirai gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bulle to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Hirai looks gassed!
Bulle seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Bulle is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hirai is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bulle is controlling him.
Bulle wants to control from the top but Hirai keeps moving.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Bulle drops back looking for a leg! Hirai is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hirai manages to kick Bulle off! Bulle jumps back into Hirai's guard.
Bulle not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Julle Bulle just wasn't active enough.

Bulle is trying to get an arm triangle but Hirai is defending well.

Bulle tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bulle has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bulle is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hirai is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hirai flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Bulle anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hirai and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Bulle slips an arm under Hirai chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Bulle has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Bulle is squeezing on Hirai like an anaconda would it's prey. Hirai fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
