Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gar Diu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forza Gr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Diu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pulse. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Gr does no damage.
Gr takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Gr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Diu's waist but Diu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gr off to one side.
Gr shoots in but no luck this time.
Gr rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gr crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Diu - the referee stops the clock and Gr gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Diu. Gr manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Diu has his foot on Gr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gr works his way back into a safe position though.

Gr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gr throws and elbow that misses. Diu uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gr's guard. Nice move by Diu!
Forza Gr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Gr wants to sweep here but Diu controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gr has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Diu is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gr.
