Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silent Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iceman Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Silent Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Iceman Liddell!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killer shoots for a double leg takedown but Liddell sprawls well. He's pushed Killer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Killer shoots in and drives through. Liddell sprawls well.
Liddell throws a head kick but Killer moves out of range.
Killer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Liddell sprawls well. Liddell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Killer gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silent Killer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Killer or perhaps it was just good defense by Liddell which made him look bad.
Killer dives in and grabs Liddell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Liddell pushes down on Killer's head and hops out.
Killer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Liddell as he jumps to the side.
Liddell keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Killer shoots for a double leg takedown but Liddell sprawls well. He's pushed Killer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Liddell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Killer circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Liddell looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Liddell throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Killer is breathing heavily.

and Liddell counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Killer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Killer has Liddell pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Liddell manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Liddell has picked Killer up - he's going for a ride! Liddell dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Liddell is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Liddell is trying to control the action in half guard but Killer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Liddell trying to mount his opponent but Killer defends it.
Liddell perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Killer won't allow Liddell to pass to mount.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Iceman Liddell wasn't active enough on the ground.

Liddell gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Liddell jumps guard.

Killer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Liddell is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Killer drops back looking for a leg! Liddell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Liddell manages to kick Killer off! Killer jumps back into Liddell's guard.

Liddell keeping moving, preventing Killer from controlling successfully.

Killer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Killer preventing the sweep.
Killer trying to control but Liddell is working from the bottom.
Killer slips nicely into half guard.

Killer is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Liddell is just riding it out for now. Killer eventually gives up the hold.

Killer is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Liddell sees it coming and defends easily.
Liddell tries to get to full guard but Killer has control of the leg.
Killer moves nicely into side control.

Killer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Liddell, who protects the arm well.

Killer working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Liddell tries to improve position but can't.

Killer is trying to get an arm triangle but Liddell is defending well.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Iceman Liddell will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


No luck with that takedown attempt from Liddell.
Liddell has a takedown stuffed.

Killer shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Liddell manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Killer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Killer thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Liddell being controlled here, momentarily.
Killer landing with the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Killer advances to half guard.
Liddell is breathing heavily.
Liddell trying to hold on to Killer's head to control him but Killer postures up.

Killer is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Liddell can do anything to dispel that myth.
Liddell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Killer wants to control but Liddell is keeping him busy.

Killer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Liddell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Killer.

Killer is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Killer moves nicely into side control.

Killer is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Liddell has escaped the position, nice work there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Killer is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Liddell looks calm but he's in trouble here. Killer gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Liddell is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Killer lets go of the hold and Liddell can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Silent Killer!
