Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Joe Jurgenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tucker has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jurgenson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jurgenson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tucker's guard.
Jurgenson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Tucker looks gassed!
Well, if Jurgenson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Jurgenson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tucker for as long as he can get away with.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Jurgenson pushes Tucker up against the cage in a clinch.
Jurgenson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tucker just stands there and leans against the cage.
Jurgenson prevents the takedown attempt.
Tucker's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Jurgenson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jurgenson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Joe Jurgenson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tucker prevents Jurgenson from breaking the clinch.
Jurgenson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Jurgenson tries to pull guard but Tucker holds him up against the cage and eventually Jurgenson drops back down to his feet.
Jurgenson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tucker smiles and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jurgenson scores a takedown into full mount!
Jurgenson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tucker looks a forlorn figure.

Jurgenson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A nice elbow there by Jurgenson.
And that's the end of the fight!
Billy Joe Jurgenson showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Jurgenson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
