The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz lands a really nice looking cross but Gimenez seems unphased.
Gimenez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Diaz paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gimenez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gimenez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Diaz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Diaz lands in his opponent's guard.
