Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Knockout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Victor Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, King Knockout!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries to clinch up

and Knockout counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Smith!
Knockout looking to control but Smith is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Smith keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Knockout sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Knockout looks up at the clock and then as Smith takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Knockout smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Knockout in side control lands a decent elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King Knockout dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Smith slips a jab and a cross from Knockout.

Knockout changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smith looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Knockout tries to roll over but Smith keeps him under control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Smith wants to get back to his feet.
Knockout trying to hold on to Smith's head to control him but Smith postures up.
Knockout wants to get back to full guard.
Smith looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Knockout with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Smith tries to stand and escape but Knockout is controlling the position.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Smith is trying to control. Knockout wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Smith wants to pass the guard but Knockout is defending well.
Knockout tries to get to full guard but Smith has control of the leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Victor Smith will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Knockout has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Smith avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Knockout has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Smith uses from the top position.
