Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gilbert Schilt!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparks walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Sparks needs to keep his hands up - Schilt had a free shot at his head there.
Schilt throws a low kick but Sparks moves out of range easily.
Schilt misses with a looping left.
Sparks checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Schilt throws a big shot that misses.
Sparks misses with a wild body shot.
Schilt is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Schilt throws a nice head kick!
Schilt jabs at Sparks's body.
Sparks has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sparks there as he acknowledges the shot.
Some bone on bone action there as Sparks checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Sparks misses with a lunging right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

The fighters circling - Sparks throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A solid leg kick lands there for Schilt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sparks. Schilt does a little dance to reset his feet.
Schilt dodges the punch combination from Sparks.
Sparks throws a left and a right that both miss
and Schilt counters with a stiff right hand.
Sparks on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Schilt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sparks.

Schilt is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Sparks throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Schilt counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Gilbert Schilt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sparks throws a lazy head kick
and Schilt counters with a nice leg kick.

Schilt fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sparks has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Both fighters circling a little - Schilt finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Sparks is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A nice combination there by Schilt.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Schilt.
Sparks takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Schilt ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Schilt lands a jab to the nose.
Schilt tests Sparks's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sparks swings widly with a right hand
and Schilt counters with a good, hard body kick but Sparks shrugs it off.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Schilt, right into the meat.

Schilt throws a nice inside leg kick.
Schilt scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Schilt moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Schilt fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Sparks takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Schilt connects with a solid leg kick.
Schilt connects with an inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Schilt works over Sparks's head and body with a nice combination.

Schilt lands with a hook. Sparks tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Schilt lands a two punch combo.
Schilt cracks Sparks with a right hand to the side of the head.

Sparks is rocked!
Schilt feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Sparks crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
