The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bob instigates a clinch.
artus wants to break free but Bob has control.
Bob fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Bob works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Bob distracts artus with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
artus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bob manages to get himself to full guard.

Bob circles away from the clinch attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from artus. Bob does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bob displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from artus.

artus stands up and we're back to a striking position.
artus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

artus bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bob is trying to improve his position.
artus happy to just control the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bob tries to bench press artus off him but artus keeps the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bob is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bob goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, artus has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bob but great work by artus.
artus is looking to take a break and control but Bob is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bob is looking to regain half guard here but artus keeps moving and retains side control.

Bob tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
artus lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
artus tries to get the hooks in deep but Bob pushed the leg off.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
artus lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Bob is in bad spot here.
Bob is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

artus has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

artus is taking a breather. Bob says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

artus seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bob does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

artus makes his way to full guard. A much better position for artus.
artus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bob manages to get himself to full guard.
Bob looking to hit a scissor sweep but artus is one step ahead there.
artus is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Bob escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. artus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
artus passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for artus, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
