Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between marlo froch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kekoa Kai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). froch kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Can't be touched. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kai fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
froch bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kai scores with a jab. froch acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
froch throws a sloppy head kick and Kai moves out of range easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kai. froch does a little dance to reset his feet.
froch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kai misses with a two punch combination.
Kai steps to the side to avoid the strikes from froch.
Kai misses with a body kick.
Kai misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kai misses with a few strikes there.
Kai swings for the body but froch moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kai looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kai looks to throw the jab but froch is out of range.
froch fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kai looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
froch steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kai.
froch throws a leg kick but Kai checks it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
froch moves out of range of the body kick.
Kai pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kai steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from froch. That one must have hurt.
froch throws a good cross that connects.
Kai gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Kekoa Kai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kai misses with a hook. froch ducked under it nicely.
Kai shoots in looking for a takedown but froch manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kai's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A kick lands to the mid section there for froch.
Kai looks gassed!
froch feints a jab promting Kai to slip. froch then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kai slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kai is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
froch comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kai is still on wobbly legs! Can froch finish him?
Kai closes the distance and clinches up with froch, looking for a takedown. Kai pushes froch against the ropes but froch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kai seems to have recovered his senses.
marlo froch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kekoa Kai.
Kai avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kai on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice inside leg kick there by froch. That's going to slow Kai down.
froch scores with a nice head shot.
froch lands with a good body shot.
Kai is trying desperately to land a takedown but froch is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kai.
Kai tries to keep at a distance but froch has taken the fight into the clinch.
froch blocks a punch to the side of the head.
froch creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Kai with a big uppercut! Kai tries to clinch up but froch pushes him back against the ropes and lands another monster strike that crumples Kai to the mat! Kai covers up and froch unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
