Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Doakes does no damage.
Doakes checks a low kick from Glutamine.

Glutamine fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Doakes sprawls well initially but Glutamine persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Glutamine looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Glutamine is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Doakes to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
Doakes is looking to stand up but Glutamine isn't so interested in that idea.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glutamine is fighting to break Doakes's control of his arms but Doakes is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Glutamine accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Doakes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Glutamine is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Doakes uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Glutamine tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Doakes makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Oooooh!!! Doakes has knocked Glutamine down with a huge combo! Doakes steps away and waves a wobbly Glutamine back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Doakes drops Glutamine with a naaaaasty hook - Glutamine is in real trouble here! Doakes dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
