The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popinski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Connelly circles away quickly and effectively.
Popinski closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Connelly on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Popinski. Popinski obviously looking to wear him down.
Connelly misses with a takedown
and Popinski counters with a two punch combo.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Connelly is defended easily by Popinski.
Popinski lands with a kick to the temple. Connelly shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Connelly lands a lovely overhand right.
