Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Red Rum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Childs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Childs has chosen Bat out of hell as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Childs pushes Rum away with a front kick.
Rum takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rum misses with a double jab
and Childs counters with a good low kick that Rum was not able to check.
Rum avoids the head kick by Childs.
Rum closes the distance and clinches up with Childs, looking for a takedown. Rum pushes Childs against the cage but Childs circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rum looks to throw a body kick
and Childs counters with a nice leg kick.
Rum is breathing heavily.
Childs lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rum's sensitive parts.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A thudding body kick lands there by Childs!
A nice inside leg kick there by Childs. That's going to slow Rum down.
Childs feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rum's calf.
Childs buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Childs scores with a head kick.
Childs throws a powerful right kick. Rum tried to block low but the kick was high! Rum was taken right off of his feet! Childs jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
