The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vera shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vera is looking to work some ground and pound but Bachelor has wrist control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vera accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bachelor might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Vera has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bachelor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Vera escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bachelor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Vera is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bachelor drops back looking for a leg! Vera is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vera manages to kick Bachelor off! Bachelor jumps back into Vera's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vera is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bachelor defends well.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Bachelor and the ref steps in to end the fight! Bachelor can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
