Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ferris Bueller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bueller comes to the cage accompanied by Do góry. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris throws the left hand but Bueller avoids the punch easily.
Norris fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bueller manages to avoid it.
Norris throws a big shot that misses.
Bueller displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Norris throws out the jab.

Bueller shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Norris is trying to defend but Bueller finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Bueller perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Norris strikes from the bottom but Bueller uses the opportunity to move to side control.

Bueller remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Bueller has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
