Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brian Bradford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Bradford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Daniel Maia!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bradford moves into the clinch successfully.
Bradford changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Maia fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Maia moves out of range as Bradford strikes.

Bradford scores with a takedown into Maia's guard.

Bradford avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Maia escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bradford gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Maia is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Maia works his way into full mount!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bradford tries to hold on but Maia pushes him away.

Maia moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bradford has worked his arm free - good work by Bradford!
Bradford is looking for a sweep.
Bradford sneaks back into half guard.
Maia stops Bradford from getting back to his feet.
Maia is thwarting Bradford's attempts to control the position.

Bradford kicks off Maia and gets to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bradford tries to close the distance and clinch but Maia swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bradford!
Bradford wants to clinch.

Maia decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bradford missing with punches from the bottom.
Bradford is holding on to half guard well.
Bradford tries to get to full guard but Maia has control of the leg.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Maia is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Maia looks gassed!

Maia is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Maia wants to pass the guard but Bradford is defending well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bradford manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Bradford bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Maia's guard.
Bradford lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Bradford trying to stand up but can't free himself from Maia's guard.
Bradford wants to pass the guard but Maia is keeping the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bradford won't allow Maia to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bradford working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bradford sitting in guard here, content to control.
Bradford postures up and lands a big shot to Maia's brow.

Maia working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bradford doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bradford manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Maia is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Maia wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Maia scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Maia working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Maia tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Maia has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bradford is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Maia is controlling him well.

Maia is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bradford knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Maia is breathing heavily.

Maia tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Maia has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bradford can't do much from the bottom here.
Bradford is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Maia goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bradford has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Maia but great work by Bradford.

Bradford decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Bradford throws a right hand that Maia ducks under and follows up with a left that Maia also avoids with ease.
Bradford misses with a series of wild punches.

Maia feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Maia looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Maia has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bradford doesn't defend quickly enough and Maia has managed to lock this one up! Can Bradford escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Maia on a fantastic submission victory.
