Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Takumi Naoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genosuke mazamashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). mazamashi has chosen fighting road as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mazamashi slips a jab from Naoki.
Naoki fails with an attempt to clinch.
Naoki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts mazamashi as he jumps to the side.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Naoki is defended easily by mazamashi.
Naoki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

mazamashi stuffs the takedown.

mazamashi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Naoki, pushing him back against the cage.

Naoki jumps guard and drags mazamashi to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Naoki has his foot on mazamashi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. mazamashi works his way back into a safe position though.

Naoki postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
mazamashi wants to stand but Naoki is controlling the position.
mazamashi looks gassed!

Naoki drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Naoki jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Naoki pushes down on mazamashi's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Naoki tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Naoki wants to pass to mount but mazamashi is defending the position.

Naoki wants to pass the guard but mazamashi is defending well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Naoki wants to lay and pray for a moment but mazamashi keeps working.
Naoki works his way into side control.

Naoki is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. mazamashi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Naoki fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but mazamashi avoids it really well and circles away.
Takumi Naoki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Naoki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? mazamashi is fending him off so far but Naoki persists. Nope, mazamashi circles away and we're back to standing.

Naoki shoots in and drives through. mazamashi sprawls well.
mazamashi shoots for a double leg takedown but Naoki sprawls well. He's pushed mazamashi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Naoki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Naoki is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked mazamashi off and has taken his back!

Naoki has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for mazamashi! Can he survive? No! He's out! Naoki gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
