Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Si Matapang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shunsuke Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Shunsuke Nakamura enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura misses with a straight left.
Nakamura stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nakamura wants it to stay on the feet.
Matapang shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nakamura sprawls well. Nakamura wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Matapang gets slowly back to his feet.
Matapang fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nakamura avoids it really well and circles away.

Nakamura feints a jab promting Matapang to slip. Nakamura then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Matapang slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Si Matapang has been cut.
Matapang dives in and grabs Nakamura's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nakamura pushes down on Matapang's head and hops out.

Nakamura rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Matapang moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Matapang doesn't seem to be complaining.
