The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thomas has closed the distance and engaged Salace in a clinch.
Thomas is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Salace blocking some punches.
Thomas lands a left hand that snaps the head of Salace backwards.
Thomas misses with some punches.
Thomas landing knees to the head.

It looks like Cyril Salace has been cut.
Thomas looking to throw knees to the head but Salace is blocking nicely.

Salace turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Thomas is trying to control Salace's posture but Salace avoids it.

Salace tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Salace has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Salace has hold of Thomas's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Thomas tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Salace cranks the arm and Thomas screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Thomas, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
