The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rundgren fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rundgren.
Jackson leaves Rundgren with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bo Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dolph Rundgren.
Rundgren looks gassed!
Rundgren changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Rundgren manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rundgren drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jackson dives on top into guard.

Rundgren fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away.

Jackson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Rundgren is looking for a sweep.
Rundgren tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Jackson presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Jackson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Jackson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rundgren for as long as he can get away with.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Jackson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Rundgren isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jackson stacks Rundgren on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jackson!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bo Jackson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
