Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iso Masa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meguru Takayanagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Masa closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Takayanagi tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Masa tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Takayanagi is letting Masa control him for a moment.
Masa really is a fat lump.

Takayanagi is trying to escape the position but Masa is controlling the position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Masa gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Takayanagi to score an easy takedown into full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Takayanagi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Masa is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Takayanagi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Takayanagi has control of Masa's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Masa regains control of the situation pretty easily.
