Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Julle Bulle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatsuya Shinji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tatsuya Shinji will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Julle Bulle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tatsuya Shinji!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shinji misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tatsuya Shinji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shinji moves in looking to clinch but Bulle pushes him off.
Shinji shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bulle as he avoids it easily.

Shinji fails to land the takedown.
Julle Bulle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tatsuya Shinji.
Shinji throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bulle throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Shinji was covering up waiting for the punch and Bulle finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bulle drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bulle jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bulle not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shinji tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Shinji really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bulle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bulle sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
We're going to have a standup here because Julle Bulle wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Bulle darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bulle stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shinji is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shinji looks gassed!
Still in half guard, Bulle seems content to control.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bulle has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Shinji defend it? Bulle steps over the head and cranks it - Shinji is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bulle!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Julle Bulle!
