Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ziskie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Blank shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ziskie pinned against the cage. Ziskie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ziskie takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Blank shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ziskie as he jumps to the side.
Blank shoots in for a double leg but Ziskie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ted Blank. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blank shoots for a takedown but Ziskie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ziskie darts in and clinches Blank up against the cage.

Ziskie escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Phillip Ziskie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blank changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ziskie tries to avoid it but Blank manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ziskie to the ground. Ziskie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Blank tries to move into range but Ziskie moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Ziskie darts in and clinches Blank up against the cage.

Ziskie manages to break the clinch.
Ziskie lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ziskie plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Blank looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ziskie throws a head kick that Blank semi-blocks.

Blank is rocked!
Ziskie is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Blank had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Ziskie lands with an uppercut that bounces Blank off the cage and back into rage.
Oh Blank is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ziskie looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Ziskie backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Blank's temple! It sends Blank violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Ziskie celebrates and the doctors try to help Blank!
