Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chiwawa Chagaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cobb Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nash has chosen Dry the River as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chagaev throws a head kick that half lands.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chagaev, as that shot connected.
Chagaev fails with the takedown.
Chagaev is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Chagaev.
Chagaev shoots in but Nash avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Chagaev moves away from the strike by Nash.
Chagaev closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Chagaev misses with a takedown attempt - Nash sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chiwawa Chagaev. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nash lands with a nice body punch.
Chagaev on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Chagaev looks for a takedown but Nash sprawls well.
Nash rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chagaev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nash throws a hook but Chagaev avoids it easily.
Chagaev shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nash defends it nicely.
Chagaev is looking to land body kicks.
Chagaev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nash tries to avoid it but Chagaev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nash to the ground. Nash escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Chagaev tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nash sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Chagaev somewhat.
Nash lands with an uppercut that bounces Chagaev off the cage and back into rage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chagaev swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Nash counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Chagaev uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nash.
Chagaev tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Nash counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nash circles away from the clinch attempt
and Nash counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Chagaev gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Nash counters with a straight right hand.
The fighters circle momentarily. Nash darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Nash jabs Chagaev right on the nose. Chagaev blinks but takes it well.

Chagaev is looking to stand back up but Nash counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Chagaev.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nash uses his free foot to push down on Chagaev's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Chagaev.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Chagaev tries to lock up and control but Nash gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Nash dominating with strikes here.
Nash avoids the attempt from Chagaev to control.
Nash landing strikes from the mount.
Chagaev is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Nash takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nash has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Chagaev's face.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nash lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Chagaev! Nash sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Chagaev and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
