The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolya fails with the takedown.

Kolya is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Postev's half guard.
Postev is trying to control but can't.
Kolya takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kolya throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Kolya lands with a punch from half guard.
Kolya thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Postev wants to improve his position but Kolya is controlling well.
Kolya working over Postev with some ground and pound. Postev looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kolya is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Postev doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kolya.
Kolya lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Postev holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Kolya landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Postev is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kolya scores with a couple of nice shots.
Kolya thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Postev's head.
Kolya lands strikes from half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Kolya seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Postev wants to control but Kolya is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kolya connects with a nice short shot to Postev's temple.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kolya lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Postev quite badly. Postev pulls Kolya in close trying to recover. Kolya postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Postev on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Postev doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
