Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wiley Abu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nakamora Yenseki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yenseki comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sick Puppies-Youre going down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Nakamora Yenseki will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yenseki dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nakamora Yenseki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yenseki looks to score with a jab to the body but Abu is just out of range.
Abu blocks a leg kick.
Yenseki misses with a double jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Yenseki. Abu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Abu shoots in but no luck this time.
Yenseki pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A lazy left from Yenseki finds it's target.

Good leg kick by Yenseki there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Abu throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Yenseki tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Abu is in Yenseki's guard.
Abu wants to control from the top but Yenseki keeps moving.

Abu drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Yenseki manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Abu has Yenseki in his guard.

Yenseki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Abu has his foot on Yenseki's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yenseki works his way back into a safe position though.
Abu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Abu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Yenseki throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Abu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Abu shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Yenseki's guard.

Yenseki throws a right and a left that Abu avoids nicely.

Yenseki won't allow Abu to pass to mount.
Yenseki is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Abu is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Yenseki still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Yenseki has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Wiley Abu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Abu is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Yenseki off and has taken his back!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Abu is working for a rear naked choke. Yenseki is not defending it well and Abu has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Yenseki refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Yenseki's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
