Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Odin Fredriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jussi Viitalainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fredriksson's entrance music is Manowar - Gods Of War. A fine choice. Jussi Viitalainen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Odin Fredriksson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jussi Viitalainen!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Fredriksson counters with a shoot takedown. Viitalainen fights it but they end up in guard.

Fredriksson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fredriksson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that Odin Fredriksson will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fredriksson in particular looking to stall.
Fredriksson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Viitalainen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Fredriksson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Viitalainen's waist but Viitalainen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fredriksson off to one side.

Fredriksson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Odin Fredriksson showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fredriksson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
