Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marvon Del Bosco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicko Roltz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Bosco has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Marvon Del Bosco has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marvon Del Bosco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nicko Roltz!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roltz tries to clinch but Del Bosco moves out of range.
Roltz walks into a left hand.
Del Bosco loads up on a big right hand but Roltz slips the punch.
Del Bosco misses with a low kick.
Roltz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Del Bosco avoids it really well and circles away.
Roltz shoots in for a takedown but Del Bosco shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Del Bosco stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Del Bosco wants it to stay on the feet.
Marvon Del Bosco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicko Roltz.
Roltz throws a body punch but Del Bosco moves out of range.
Roltz should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Roltz shoots in looking for a takedown but Del Bosco manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Roltz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Del Bosco blocks a leg kick.

Horrible takedown by Roltz or perhaps it was just good defense by Del Bosco which made him look bad.
Roltz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Del Bosco paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nicko Roltz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roltz showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Del Bosco.
The crowd cheers as Del Bosco lands an impressive looking overhand right. Roltz doesn't seem phased though.
Del Bosco scores with a nice strike.
Del Bosco leaves Roltz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Del Bosco comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Roltz looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Del Bosco connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Roltz momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Del Bosco keeps the fight on the outside.

Del Bosco connects with a right hand. Roltz shakes it off.
Roltz doesn't manage to clinch there - Del Bosco circles away.
Roltz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Del Bosco as he jumps to the side.
Del Bosco is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Roltz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Del Bosco is fending him off so far but Roltz persists. Nope, Del Bosco circles away and we're back to standing.
Del Bosco lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

and Del Bosco counters with a lovely shot to the body.

It looks like Nicko Roltz has been cut.
Del Bosco is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Del Bosco misses with a low kick.
Roltz on the wrong end of a nice jab.


Roltz is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Del Bosco throws a lazy right hand but Roltz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Roltz is still on wobbly legs! Can Del Bosco finish him?
Del Bosco stuffs the takedown.
Roltz seems to have recovered his senses.
Del Bosco throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Roltz stumbling backwards into the cage! Roltz bounces back off the cage towards Del Bosco, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Del Bosco lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Del Bosco celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Marvon Del Bosco!
