Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Columbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts comes to the cage accompanied by The Legion of Doom Theme. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jan Columbar!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Columbar attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A solid leg kick lands there for Columbar.
Columbar shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Roberts misses with a hook. Columbar ducked under it nicely.

and Columbar counters with a good, hard body kick but Roberts shrugs it off.

Roberts will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

and Columbar counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Columbar fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Roberts.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Columbar feints and then cracks Roberts's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Roberts down.

Columbar lands a big head kick that sends Roberts tumbling to the mat! Columbar takes a step backwards and waves Roberts back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Columbar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
