The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Okami fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grazie manages to avoid it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Grazie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Grazie feints and as Okami raises his hands in defense, Grazie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Grazie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Grazie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Grazie moves forwards but Okami connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Grazie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Okami as he jumps to the side.
Okami throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Grazie shoots in for a double leg but Okami sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Okami gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Okami is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
