Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Moye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Frank Castle has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Castle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derek Moye!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.


It looks like Derek Moye has been cut.
Castle moves away from the strike by Moye.
Frank Castle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed right hand from Moye misses the target.
Moye dives in and grabs Castle's left leg, looking for a takedown. Castle pushes down on Moye's head and hops out.
Moye tries to clinch there but Castle circles away.
Castle throws a shot from downtown. Moye moves away and avoids it.

Castle has closed the distance and engaged Moye in a clinch.

Castle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Moye counters with a single leg into guard. Castle didn't expect that.
Castle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Moye passes Castle's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Castle is looking to control Moye's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Castle avoid being mounted?

Moye seems to be working for a kimura but Castle defends the submission attempt.

Moye is trying to control the action in half guard but Castle is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Castle keeps control of the position for the meantime.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Moye uses his free foot to push down on Castle's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Castle.

Moye looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moye jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Castle manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Castle is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Castle is looking to improve his position.

Castle wants to improve his position but Moye is controlling well.
Castle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moye on the ground.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Moye displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Castle throws out the jab.
Castle throws an overhand right that lands on Moye's shoulder, as Moye tries to avoid the shot.
Castle throws a looping overhand right but Moye ducks down to avoid it.
Moye uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Castle.
Sloppy strikes from Castle. Those never looked like landing.
Moye fails with a takedown attempt.
Castle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Moye paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Moye looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Castle enables Moye to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Castle manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Frank Castle.
Castle throws a jab but it's blocked by Moye.
Moye lands a nice shot to the body.
Moye looks to throw the jab but Castle is out of range.
Castle blocks a jab.
Castle misses with a hook. Moye ducked under it nicely.
A big left from Castle misses.
Castle throws out a loose jab but Moye uses good head movement to avoid it.
Castle shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Moye counters by moving into the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Moye stalls.
Castle has had enough of the clinch but Moye keeps him there for the moment.
Moye tries to score a body lock takedown but Castle shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Castle is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Castle throws a body punch but Moye moves out of range.
Moye needs to keep his hands up - Castle had a free shot at his head there.

Castle moves to clinch but Moye breaks away
and Moye cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Moye makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Horrible takedown by Moye or perhaps it was just good defense by Castle which made him look bad.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd cheers as Castle lands an impressive looking overhand right. Moye doesn't seem phased though.
Castle misses with a looping left.
Castle lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
A telegraphed right hand from Castle misses the target.
Castle throws a jab when Moye was well out of range.
Castle throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Moye on the side of the head.
Castle lands a nice hook to Moye's body. Moye takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Castle connects with a jab.

Moye closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Castle to the mat! Castle manages to get full guard.
Castle wants to sweep here but Moye controlling him for the moment.
Castle is working hard here to advance position.

Moye postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Castle is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Moye, into his guard.
Castle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moye swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Castle wants to control from the top but Moye keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Castle avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Moye working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Castle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Castle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

And that's the end of the fight!
Frank Castle showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Castle has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
