Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between jose gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tugg Speedman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tugg Speedman!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Speedman.
Speedman works the jab nicely.
Speedman swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by gomez.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close second round but I would say that jose gomez will probably get the nod.

Speedman is going oldschool here, as he tries to force gomez to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so gomez shrugs it off.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Speedman has hold of gomez's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and gomez manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well Speedman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
