Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilkov takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Gilkov takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Gilkov pushes off an throws an elbow but Arcu leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Arcu tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danial Arcu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gilkov lands an elbow just above Arcu 's eye.
Gilkov is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Arcu gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Arcu is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gilkov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Arcu to the mat. Arcu regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Arcu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gilkov on the ground.
Gilkov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Arcu wants to sweep but no luck.
Gilkov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gilkov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gilkov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arcu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Arcu is on top in guard.
Gilkov looking for a guillotine here but Arcu defends easily.
Gilkov keeping moving, preventing Arcu from controlling successfully.

Arcu keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gilkov's head.
Gilkov controls Arcu momentarily but Arcu frees himself.
Gilkov is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Gilkov is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Arcu has his hands clasped together but Gilkov extends an breaks Arcu's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gilkov.
