Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martti Nakutin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gypsy Gusmao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakutin pivots, looking for a leg kick but Gusmao is out of range and Nakutin settles back down.
A nice leg kick lands there from Gusmao.
Gusmao keeps the fight on the outside.
Gusmao tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nakutin was well out of range. Poor timing from Gusmao.
Nakutin misses with a hook
and Gusmao counters with a nice body shot.
A jab from Gusmao finds it's way through Nakutin's defenses.

Gusmao dodges the punch combination from Nakutin.
Gusmao takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Nakutin throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Gusmao counter with a right hand.
Gypsy Gusmao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gusmao lands a jab-cross combination.
Gusmao swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nakutin.
Gusmao works over Nakutin's head and body with a nice combination.

Nakutin tries to clinch there but Gusmao circles away.

A slow jab from Nakutin misses its intended target.
Gusmao lands a jab to Nakutin's midsection.

Gusmao lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Nakutin throws the kick towards the body but Gusmao avoids it.

and Nakutin counters with a nice right hand that sends Gusmao toppling to the canvas! Gusmao scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Nakutin finish him?!

Gusmao is rocked!
Martti Nakutin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gusmao scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gusmao seems to have recovered his senses.
Nakutin sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Gusmao's defenses. It connects perfectly with Gusmao's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
