Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arlovski comes into the arena with Hunt You Down blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Arlovski paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Arlovski fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Slice sprawls well initially but Arlovski persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Slice is looking for a sweep. Arlovski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Arlovski tries to pass to full mount but Slice defends it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee warns Slice that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Arlovski is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Slice can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
